They aren't angry about a statue...

Someone is going to have to explain to me the "grievances" these idiots in Charlottesville are protesting about, with their Tiki torches and baseball bats.

I'm white, and try as hard as I can, I just can't come up with anything.

A statue being removed? Really?

When black men are being murdered for a broken tail light?

When schools in inner cities have leaking roofs and mushrooms on the walls?

Didn't we already fight this war? And didn't these racists already lose?

So don't believe the lies about what these white men--and yes, these Nazis are virtually all white men--are really angry about.

They aren't angry about a statue. They don't know the history behind these statues, or care enough to learn about it.

They aren't angry about the economy. These are the same people that have told us that minorities without jobs were lazy, and the poor just need to pull up their bootstraps.

They aren't angry about immigrants. They wouldn't do the jobs that immigrants hold, and eagerly appropriate their customs, foods, and cultural traditions--they carried tiki torches through the streets for heavens sake.

They are angry that a black man led their country for the past 8 years, through a crisis created by people like them, and led it through that crisis with elegance, humility, and grace.

They are angry that the world is changing, and that their monopoly on power is waning.

They are angry that good people are embracing the diversity that really makes America great, and know that their power--their white power--is merely a brief, momentary flare before the candle of hate finally flickers out for good.

For good.
